Early Education Entitlements
197 (One Nine Seven) Nurseries offer Early Education Entitlements (EEE) for 9 months, 2, 3 and 4 year olds.
This funding is delivered by 197 to support parental access while ensuring the future sustainability of the business.
197 Nurseries are open for 50 weeks of the year. We offer fully funded free places for 38 weeks of the year and as an all year round childcare provider we stretch the Early Education Entitlement across 50 weeks instead of limiting it to 38 weeks of term time.

Invoicing
Please note we do not invoice parents on a monthly basis. We have different fee schedules that show what monthly payments are needed for all scenarios.
When your child joins the nursery, you will be pointed to the fee schedule that is applicable to you and when there is an annual fee increase, parents will be emailed the updated fee schedules.
Parents are required to set up standing orders for the first of every month for the fees due for their child. It is the parent’s responsibility that the correct amount is paid and when the child leaves 197 they are also responsible to cancel the standing order set up with their bank. Any overpayments will incur an admin charge of £25.00 if a refund is required.
Any overpayments made through the tax-free system will only be refunded back to where it was made from and not to the parent’s personal accounts.
If parents require an invoice for any claims they need to make, the management team will be happy to help.
Food contributions
If your child is accessing one of our stretched offer fee schedules, this covers the cost for meals.
If your child is accessing a fully funded free place for 38 weeks of the year, we ask for a voluntary contribution towards meals. If parents are unable to make the voluntary contribution, they will be required to provide a packed lunch or meals for their child’s nursery day.
This does not apply to children accessing the Families Receiving Additional Support (FRAS) funding.
Between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm, we provide 3 main meals and 2 snacks. Below are the following charges.
Breakfast 8.30 am to 9 am - £2
Morning snack 10.30 am – No charge
Lunch 11.30/12 pm - £2
Afternoon snack 2.30 pm – No charge
Tea 4 pm - £2
If you are making a voluntary contribution towards meals and would like to opt out and bring a packed lunch for your child, we would require 1 week's written notice. This also applies if you would like to opt in to making a voluntary contribution towards meals.
The nursery will invoice parents on a termly basis for meals. Payment can be made by cash or bank transfer. If parents have difficulty paying, then they are welcome to speak to the management team.
If you are providing a packed lunch for your child, we would require this to be healthy (no fizzy drinks/chocolate/crisps etc), nutritious and nut-free. If possible, we would ask for this to be able to be served as provided to the nursery.
Non-food consumables
197 (One Nine Seven) Nurseries do not provide nappies, wipes or children’s creams, for example, sun cream. Parents are required to bring in labelled items as required.
Occasionally, children may visit the local theatre or cinema, but a charge is applied to all families who wish for their child to participate.
We do not charge for our drama company who currently visits the children on Thursdays each week during term time. All children can access this at no cost.
